For improved card durability and security, the DTC4500e can be optionally equipped with a dual-sided lamination module that supports increased throughput via the unit’s ability to laminate both sides of the card simultaneously. The DTC4500e also boasts features that enhance the security of your overall card issuance program. Optional locking hoppers and user-defined passwords lock down printer access ensuring that unauthorized personnel cannot use the printer to print fraudulent cards or steal personal information, while AES256 data encryption protects cardholder data while in transit, thus guaranteeing data integrity and authentication between PC and printer.
